Accessibility and Neurodiversity at Farnfields
Different Minds. One Team
We recognise that there is no single way in which people work, communicate or perform at their best. We are committed to creating a working environment where people feel supported to work in ways that enable them to thrive.
As part of our wider commitment to equality, diversity and inclusion, we continue to develop our understanding of neurodiversity and inclusive working practices across the firm. This includes increasing awareness through neurodiversity training, encouraging open conversations, supporting reasonable workplace adjustments and embedding practices that reflect our Values and support colleagues to perform at their best.
As an inclusive employer, we are committed to ensuring equal access and opportunity for all candidates and employees. Applicants and employees are encouraged to inform us of any reasonable adjustments, accessibility requirements, or individual support needs relating to the recruitment process or workplace arrangements that they would like us to consider. We encourage you to let us know so we can support you appropriately.
Our approach is led collaboratively through our People Board and HR team as part of our ongoing focus on creating a supportive, adaptable and inclusive culture.
Supporting Our Clients
We recognise that people communicate, process information and access services in different ways.
We encourage clients to let us know if there are any accessibility requirements, communication preferences, neurodiversity-related needs or reasonable adjustments that may help us provide our services in the most effective and supportive way.
Our aim is to create an approachable and inclusive experience for all clients, and any information shared with us is treated sensitively and respectfully.
Physical Access to Our Offices
Our offices are located within a number of older buildings and physical accessibility may vary between locations. Where possible, we will always seek to make reasonable arrangements to support clients, visitors and colleagues with physical access requirements, including arranging accessible meeting spaces or alternative ways of meeting where needed.
We encourage anyone with accessibility requirements to contact us in advance so that we can discuss how best to support their visit.
