Farnfields and the Community

Supporting and investing in local communities is important to both Farnfields’ Partners and their team of over 100 staff in three offices. Working and often living in the heart of the communities we serve, we often have a deep understanding of the local issues faced. We are especially aware of rural community need and are delighted to make a small but positive difference.

Remembering the person and not just the law is the ethos that epitomises Farnfields Solicitors. Our sponsorship extends to supporting local carnivals, pantomimes, schools, fetes and many other activities in nearby towns and villages.  By supporting and investing in the local communities that we serve Farnfields Solicitors actively seek out health and wellbeing opportunities to provide support that benefits others living and working in isolated, often rurally deprived localities. We are proud to have won the LawNet Award for Best Community Contribution 2019/20, made only possible for the fabulous communities we serve.

Every year we raise money for our nominated charity of the year. Our annual golf day event has consistently raised in the region of £2,000 for a range of worthwhile causes – last year we raised money to provide defibrillators in the areas where we have offices and this year we are raising money for Dorset Mind and Wiltshire Mind.

We take great pride in not only contributing to many worthwhile local organisations but also in getting actively involved. Partners and staff are governors of local schools and trustees of local organisations – as well as being members of the local Chambers of Commerce, which help to support businesses on the high streets.

As a firm, we seek to employ staff from the local community wherever possible and support local schools and university students from the area by participating in their work experience initiatives.
