We are delighted to celebrate Amelia’s qualification as a Solicitor, following the successful completion of her training here at Farnfields Solicitors.

Amelia qualified on 1 October 2026 and will join our Private Client Department as a Solicitor, continuing her career with Farnfields where she will work with clients on matters including wills, estate planning, and lifetime planning. Coincidentally, our Head of the Private Client Department, Fiona Thomas, qualified exactly 25 years ago on the same date!

Amelia joined Farnfields in 2023 as a Legal Secretary and has gained valuable experience across a number of departments during her training. Prior to her training contract, she also worked as a Paralegal in our Dispute Resolution Department, supporting clients with landlord and tenant matters, debt recovery, and contractual disputes. Amelia studied for her undergraduate law degree at the University of Warwick, which included a year abroad at Utrecht University in the Netherlands.

Fiona ThomasSpeaking about Amelia’s qualification, Fiona Thomas, Head of the Private Client Department, said:

We are delighted to welcome Amelia into the Private Client Department as a qualified Solicitor. She has shown great commitment throughout her training and has gained valuable experience across different areas of the firm. Her enthusiasm for developing her legal knowledge, combined with her client-focused approach, will be a real asset to the team. We look forward to supporting Amelia as she takes this next step in her career with Farnfields.

Amelia added:

I am very grateful to Farnfields for supporting my training and development over the last few years. I’ve really enjoyed working with and learning from people across the firm, as well as assisting a wide variety of clients. I am very excited to be qualifying into the Private Client Team and look forward to this new chapter as a qualified Solicitor.

Amelia’s qualification marks an exciting milestone in her career, and we look forward to seeing her continue to grow and develop as part of the Farnfields team.
