Farnfields Solicitors have an excellent opportunity for an experienced IT Manager to join the firm’s management team at our offices based in Shaftesbury and Gillingham, North Dorset and Warminster, Wiltshire.

There is excellent flexibility so whilst you will need to come into the offices, this role can be done on a combined hybrid working basis with some home working.

About the role

You will be responsible for the firm’s IT function including day to day management of the firm’s IT infrastructure. You will provide daily support along with problem solving, providing proactive solutions, dealing with procurement and will be responsible for IT project management and driving forward positive change. You will work directly with the Practice Director and Partners in determining, developing and implementing our IT strategy.

Who you are?

As the ideal candidate you will have a minimum of 5 years’ experience in IT management and enjoy a challenge! You will have a proven track record in both strategic and operational IT management, coupled with demonstrable experience of handling IT projects and implementing new IT systems and software. Previous experience working in the legal sector and with case management systems would be advantageous too, but is not essential for the right person. You will also have a friendly, professional and proactive hands-on approach to work.
