Farnfields Charity Golf Day raises over £2,800
20/5/19
£2,800 has been raised at the annual Farnfields Solicitors Charity Golf Day for Dorset Mind and Wiltshire Mind.
Nineteen teams participated in the event (which was held at Rushmore Golf Club, Tollard Royal), with a chance to win a car on the 17th hole by scoring a hole in one. The car was safe this time!
Julian Alahakoon, Partner at Farnfields said, “The annual golf day is a fantastic opportunity to raise money for our charities of the year and our heartfelt thanks go to all those that participated either by playing golf and or through sponsorship. We had fantastic gifts donated to the raffle and auction from local organisations which really added to the event and helped to raise money for the charities. The smooth running of the day is down to the staff at Rushmore Golf Club and I would like to take this opportunity to thank them for their continued support and help with this event.”
Dorset Mind is a mental health charity that has been supporting local people with mental health difficulties since 1946. They educate, challenge stigma and provide support towards peoples’ wellbeing and recovery towards positive mental health in Dorset.
