Firm continues growth into 2020 with the appointment of a leading Litigation Solicitor to our Gillingham team
After several years of growth for the firm, which saw multiple new appointments and departmental changes in several key areas, Farnfields Solicitors have begun the New Year by welcoming more top legal talent to their expanding Litigation Department.10/2/20
Nigel Mills who is a specialist litigation solicitor joins us after several years at a Salisbury firm, where he dealt primarily with civil and employment dispute resolution. Before this, he practised in Dorset and was a partner in a Bournemouth law firm.
Speaking of his appointment, Nigel said: “Having worked in general dispute resolution for over 25 years, there is very little I haven’t come across, and I feel that Farnfields’ growth makes this a good time to expand their service in this area of the law. I am excited to be joining Farnfields having been attracted to the firm by a combination of its solid reputation across the region together with the opportunity to develop a team of enthusiastic young lawyers and support staff.”
Fiona Thomas, Managing Partner said: “This is an incredibly exciting time for the firm, and we are delighted to be welcoming a solicitor with Nigel’s experience and expertise to our Litigation team. Nigel’s arrival at Farnfields comes at a period of marked progress for the firm as we seek more efficient work practices and an expansion of client services.”
Discussing his role, Nigel said: “I very much enjoy my job and the opportunity it gives for me to use my knowledge and experience to help solve problems, whether it is for individuals or businesses. The work is full of variety. One day I could be working on a business dispute, another day on an inheritance or property dispute and on another a discrimination claim before the Employment Tribunal. I bring a practical and cost-effective client-focused approach to my work.”
