Investing in people and processes
28/2/20
In recent years Farnfields Solicitors has gone from strength to strength and particularly over the last five years has grown substantially in terms of size and number of personnel, winning a number of awards along the way. Meanwhile, it is absolutely clear that business – and the broader environment in which we all operate, and indeed communicate – also continues to change at a rapid pace. So to offer clients and our staff greater opportunities moving forward, Farnfields wants to be able to embrace these challenges with both more efficient work practices and an expansion of client services.
To make Farnfields fitter and more agile with improved service standards and practice management, it has been decided that Farnfields will close the Sturminster Newton office with effect from 31st March 2020. All existing and indeed future Sturminster Newton clients will be served by our existing offices in Gillingham, Shaftesbury and Warminster. You will also be seen by familiar faces as all of Sturminster Newton staff will continue their roles in either Gillingham or Shaftesbury.
Managing Partner Fiona Thomas says, “We are not certainly leaving Sturminster Newton behind, but the challenges ahead need us to adopt a slightly different model. We have recently renewed our sponsorship of The Exchange in Sturminster Newton for the forthcoming year, and our commitment to the people and businesses of the town continues. We’d also like to assure people that we will continue to offer flexibility in terms of client meetings, which can be either at our remaining offices or at the homes and places of businesses of our clients.”
In other news, Farnfields will shortly be announcing the appointment of two new Partners. Additionally, recent appointments have seen the expansion of the Family Department and an enlargement of the Dispute Resolution Department with two new senior appointments, and the team continue to seek quality candidates from the field of law. All in all, these are exciting developments for the firm as they step up to take advantage of the demands of the new decade as investing in people and processes becomes ever more important.
If you are an existing client of the firm we will be in touch with you directly but please do not hesitate in contacting us on 01747 825432 or by email.
