An incredible twenty-five years of loyal service has been rewarded with a nice surprise for Marion Baxter of Farnfields Solicitors who was presented with a necklace and cake for her years of hard work at the Warminster office. Marion grew up in Warminster and went to Kingdown School before later beginning her career as a legal secretary when she joined Farnfields.

During that time, she has seen many changes, particularly with the introduction of computers and internet for all, whether that be on a laptop or your handheld smartphone.

Marion commented “It has been lovely to help so many local people over the years, particularly as they sometimes need our services at some very difficult times in their lives. I’ve certainly seen many technological office changes too in that time, and our office routines are very different from what they were when I started when we still used floppy disks for data storage.”

Susan Lacey, the Senior Partner, told us “Marion has been a very committed member of the team and we cannot thank her enough for all she has done during the last 25 years for the firm.”

Marion joined the Warminster office in 1994 where she has worked predominately with the Private Client Department which has bought her into contact with many members of the public across the area and indeed across the generations. Our heartfelt thanks go out to Marion for all that she has achieved.
