Lucy Milton-Downes, heads up the Litigation department and is responsible for the management of the Warminster Office .  She has a law degree from UWE and completed her Practice Course at Exeter University. Prior to joining Farnfields, Lucy worked in Bath and Manchester and carried out her training contract for a law firm in Harrogate where much of her time was spent representing clients who were detained under the Mental Health Act 1983. On qualification in 2008, Lucy moved to a large regional practice in the centre of York where she began her law career in civil dispute resolution including property litigation, personal injury, contractual and construction disputes, insolvency and regulatory matters.

Lucy moved back to the South West in 2010 after having her first child working for a law firm in Somerset in property litigation and contentious probate. Lucy joined Farnfields in June 2014 as an Associate Litigator, becoming a Partner in 2017.  Lucy is an experienced litigator with over 12 years litigation experience. Lucy and her team specialise in:

  • Commercial litigation

Lucy is married with three young children. In her spare time she enjoys spending time in the French Alps, either skiing or walking, with her family.
