Susan Lacey is our Senior Partner and head of the Private Client department. Susan has a law degree from Hertfordshire University and then went to York Law School. Susan is a member of STEP (Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners).
Susan provides management and supervision to a growing department across four offices and has over 26 years of dealing with Private Client matters. She leads her team to providing an holistic approach to private client matters advising on care home fees, protection of assets, tax planning, wills, trusts and lasting powers of attorney issues and advising several generations of families on wealth preservation.
Susan trained at Farnfields and qualified in 1992 and became a partner in 1997. Susan has been the Senior Partner since 2014. Susan has overall responsibility of the Private Client department. Susan is married with two children. She enjoys following Bath rugby, spending time with friends and family and planning renovation of their house in France. Susan is a trustee of the Southern Academy Trust which is a trust of four local schools in and near Shaftesbury.
