Court of Protection / Deputyship Application

The Court of Protection is a branch of the Court that assist people who lack the capacity to deal with their own affairs. This could be by the appointment of an Attorney or a Deputy, who may be a family member or friend, who can then deal with day to day decisions.

Some decisions need Court approval, such as making lifetime gifts, the making of a statutory will and tax planning.

We have considerable experience in dealing with such applications to the Court and dealing with the ongoing administration required by the Court.
