Warminster Charity Quiz in Aid of Jacob’s Ladder This July image

The Family Law Team at Farnfields Solicitors, are planning another a charity quiz at The George Inn at Longbridge Deverill on Wednesday 10th July 2019. In January we raised over £630 in aid of Jacob’s Ladder at our quiz event thanks to the generosity of local businesses who donated raffle prizes and those who attended our sold-out event. Following tremendous feedback, we’re organising another quiz to raise even more money for this worthy local charity.

Jacob’s Ladder is a local charity which supports children and young people with special needs and their families. They provide stimulating projects in a safe environment and have a team of volunteers who dedicate their time to ensuring that these wonderful sessions run successfully and benefit all the children who attend them. Representatives of the charity will there on the night to speak more about the incredible work they do and how our funds will help them.

Kirsty and Paul Holdsworth, directors of Jacob’s Ladder said, “I would like to express my thanks to Farnfields for choosing to support Jacob’s Ladder this year. They put on such a brilliant evening and we are so grateful to them, and also everyone that attended and donated in some way on the night. All of the funds raised will go towards our appeal for a new home for Jacob’s Ladder. We currently have no permanent venue and are desperate to have a home that can cater for the needs of all the young people who attend. Jacob’s Ladder is a lifeline to so many families, and it’s so important that we can find a suitable home to continue running our services, and support even more families.”
