We welcome two new Partners to the growing Partnership image

To keep pace with continuing growth, Farnfields Solicitors are delighted to welcome two new Partners Mel Wilkins and Timothy Glover.

Mel Wilkins, who is a Senior Chartered Legal Executive, has been working in Private Client law since 1997, and is experienced in acting for families and charities, specialising in drafting wills and trusts, lasting powers of attorney, inheritance tax planning and estate administration. Mel read English at university before entering the legal profession and studying for the CILEx qualification whilst working.

Discussing her role, Mel said; “At Farnfields I work with an outstanding team who strive to deliver high quality legal services to clients in Dorset, Wiltshire and beyond. I am delighted to be joining the partnership at such an exciting time for the firm in terms of growth and look forward to making a contribution to shaping the firm’s future.”

Mel is a terrific private client lawyer and has made a fantastic contribution to the private client team since she joined Farnfields almost two years ago.  Mel’s appointment as a partner will now also enable her to showcase her management skills to the wider firm and will further strengthen the partnership”.

Timothy Glover, who is a Solicitor and head of the Dispute Resolution Department. Tim has a Law Degree LLB from Coventry University and Mediation Accreditation London School of Psychotherapy and Counselling. His specialisations include   commercial and consumer contract disputes, misrepresentation claims, boundary and land rights disputes and residential possession claims.

Discussing his role, Tim said: “I very much enjoy my job and the opportunity it gives for me to use my knowledge and experience to help solve problems, whether it is for individuals or businesses. The work is full of variety. One day I could be working on a breach of contract claim, another on a building dispute and on another a boundary dispute. It is this variety that makes the job so interesting and enjoyable.”

Sarah Jones, Partner said: “This is a very exciting time for the firm, and we are delighted to be welcoming a solicitor with Tim’s experience and expertise to our Dispute Resolution team.”
